Underground Services

Core Civil Mining provides underground concrete lining and shotcrete services for mine development and infrastructure fitout, including invert concrete, culvert construction, structured drainage channels, sump construction, and mass concrete for equipment pads and bulkheads. Our underground drainage systems are designed and constructed to manage the high volumes of groundwater and service water inherent to WA underground operations — with gravity drain networks, collection sumps, and pump station civils all coordinated as an integrated water management solution from the development level to the main dewatering system. Effective underground water management reduces equipment damage risk, improves underfoot conditions, and directly contributes to personnel safety throughout the mine.

We provide complete underground services reticulation including compressed air reticulation, fire main and water service pipework, compressed air starters, electrical conduit installation, communications and data cabling infrastructure, and paste fill distribution pipework — all coordinated with civil, electrical, and mechanical trade contractors to the mine layout and services schedule. All underground civil construction works are executed under Core Civil Mining's integrated HSEQ management system with mandatory underground-specific inductions, pre-start inspections, DPI tagging and isolation procedures, and re-entry protocols maintained for every work crew on every shift.
